I had the sudden thought that fem!lock is actually in the show. I think Irene/Molly would be a perfect fem!lock, for these reasons:

because Irene is obviously Sherlock’s female side;

and Molly…. we always see her very timid and clumsy, but mostly because she has to do with Sherlock, who’s a man and really very intimidatory and not interested in women (and love, generally).

Despite that, Molly is without any doubt one of the most badassery girl in the show (except Mrs Hudson, maybe XD).

So, if I think about her with Irene, I can perfectly imagine Molly being all enthusiastic about a new adventure and being completely ecstatic before one of Irene’s deductions, follow her everywhere and being the ‘common sense’ in the couple.

So that’s all.
